Target Test Prep GMAT – Quick Thoughts:t
Before we get into the detailed review below, here is a quick summary of our thoughts on the Target Test Prep GMAT Prep Course(s).
Target Test Prep is a relatively new market entrant, but one that is making a huge splash! The first thing you need to know is that Target Test Prep is QUANT ONLY at this point, but they have done a GREAT job with their current offering and do have plans to add to their GMAT quantitative course.
Get ready to be blown away by incredible user experience and course design. Target Test Prep hired some of the absolute best developers in the world. We know, because we did our investigating after being blown away ourselves with the quality of the design features.
We mentioned above that this isn’t a full GMAT prep course, because it focuses solely on the quantitative section of the GMAT. In addition to that, it’s not a course where you sit and watch hours upon hours of lecture. It’s one where you have two options. (1) Go through digital course modules via reading quick snippets on individual topics. Many topics feature a built in practice problem and then a detailed video explanation. That detailed video explanation is the extent of any video lessons you’ll receive throughout the course. (2) Select the ‘short study plan’ and go through each module by answering all the related practice problems. Within your results, you’ll be able to assess your strengths and weaknesses, review missed questions, and tailor your continued prep based upon the performance feedback received. The benefit of this is that you don’t have to waste your time reading and learning concepts that you already know.
Bottom line…..If you need help with just the quantitative section of the GMAT, then we HIGHLY recommend trying out the Target Test Prep course. Here is a link to their 5-Day Trial Basis Course. It will cost you just $1, and it’s well worth taking this course for a test drive!
